Chewelah Farmer's Market

It is a beautiful day at the market!

All the booths on the grass. What a lovely setting.

Our booth.

Some live bluegrass music!

Around the Garden

It has been a cool wet spring so things in the garcen have been kind of slow. But they are still growing!

Strawberries: coming soon!
Peas

Speckled lettuce

Lucy and Jane

A lady I met at the farmer's market gave me her two ducks. The brown on is Jane and the grey one is Lucy. They are fun to watch out in the backyard. They seem to be settling into their new home very well.

Babies

I got two baby ducks the other day. They are so cute and David enjoys them. He wasn't too sure about having them on his lap though!

Planting Tomatoes

Yesterday I planted over 100 tomato plants! It is more challenging when you have a baby and a goat trying to climb on you the whole time!

Skylark

On Sunday morning I woke up to find that Hannah had kidded. She had one pretty little doeling. I just love her markings. I decided to name her Skylark.

It will be so nice to have fresh milk again, too!

David is fascinated with her. He loves to touch her.

Baby Chick

This is one of my special baby chicks. I incubated some green Araucauna eggs and got seven very cute chicks!

At the Market

Here is our booth at the Colville Farmer's Market! This was taken on our first market day.

David plays in his playpen and is usually a very good boy.
