Chicks for Sale

We have two week old straight run Rhode Island Red chicks for sale. They are hatched from our farm fresh eggs.Rhode Island Reds are excellent dual purpose chickens. They are an outstanding layer of brown eggs. The roosters would make good roasters.

We are selling them for $1.99 each.

Earth Day Fair

We will be at the Earth Day Fair in Chewelah, by the creek, on the grounds of the St. Paul Lutheran Church , N 202 2nd St. W. from 10 am to 3 pm. We will have strawberry plants, baby chicks, and crafts for sale.

Yesterday David helped me plant strawberries. He enjoyed the dirt very much. Of course he needed a bath when we were done.

Planting Strawberries

While my family was up from California last weekend we got outside in the sunshine and planted some of our strawberries. It was a great help and fun besides! There are still many more to plant!
